😢 So sad about your work of art, Brenda. I, also hope it's found intact. But, I truly believe all things happen for a reason - that will eventually make itself known to you. Perhaps, at this very moment, it is somewhere inspiring someone you may or may not ever know, but may go on to inspire others, because of you. ❤️
Thank you, Ed. ❤ I expect to hear that some kid slid it between the books at his local library and there is a 6 month waiting list (it has happened). I have also thought that I hope someone got it in their mailbox and loved it so much they couldn't let go. That would be ok with me.
I heard about that young boy who created his own book, snuck it onto a library shelf in his local library and they now have a waiting list for it. Good for him. I hope it motivates him to do even more now. And, I truly hope destiny has yours sitting somewhere with at least a 6 month waiting list for it, too. In my book (no pun intended) that's a bestseller.
I could just see you reading all those books, that cute little girl with the long braids. That could totally be the start of a great movie – or a book, of course. I am so sorry for the loss of your first book! When you told me about this earlier, I thought it happened years ago, not just a few months ago. Heartbreaking! I hope it is found, intact and soon.
I was a bookworm from the minute I could read, that's a fact, LaVonne. I agree that this scene would make a great beginning of something. I tried to keep it short, but I could talk about that place for a very long time. Yes, it was my first book, and it was lost in August of last year. Thank you, friend, I hope it is found intact, too. They won't be accepting new sketchbooks at this time, but I think I would like to do another one eventually. I learned a lot making that one.
Ooohhh, I loved the Childcraft Encyclopedias, too, Shirli! I don't know what I would have done without books throughout my life. Yep, pretty sad about the sketchbook, but maybe it will turn up. I wish I had digitized it myself. Thank you! I thought it was pretty nifty.
